Security Changes
What is changing?
For your security, the Department of Retirement Systems has added multi-factor authentication to all DRS online accounts.
What is it?
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a two-step process to verify you are the owner of your DRS online account.
How does it work?
With MFA, you’ll receive an authentication code that will be sent to the email address or mobile phone number registered in your account. Enter and submit the code to proceed to your account.
Verify your information.
In preparation for these changes, please make sure your email address is up to date. You also have the option to add a mobile phone number to your account on the change phone number screen. Adding a mobile phone will give you the option to receive an authentication code via text message instead of email.
